Day 1 – Athens
Arrival in Athens. Overnight Athens

Day 2 – Athens
Athens city tour starts from the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896. Continue and pass by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit, the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the Parthenon.

Day 3 – Athens

Day 4 – Delphi -> Kalambaka/Meteora
Depart early in the morning for Delphi via Thebes, Levadia and the picturesque village of Arachova, on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, and arrive in Delphi, to visit the Archaeological Site. You will have the chance to visit the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios, and learn the story of this brave God’s triumph over the dragon that guarded the “Omphalos”. Visit the marble Treasury of the Athenians, built to store the rich offerings of grateful kings.

Afterwards, you will proceed to the small picturesque city of Kalambaka, passing through beautiful villages and cities of Central Greece, all built according to the traditional local arquitecture.

Day 5 – Meteora
After breakfast we will visit Meteora. Meteora are unique rock formations, raising high with Christian monasteries built at the top. It is truly fascinating to visit the interior part of them, but also enjoy the amazing views. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (short stop to see across the road the Leonida’s Monument). Arrival in Athens early in the evening.

Day 11 – Paros – Mykonos
Arrive in Mykonos and explore the white-washed town or head for the beach before experiencing the completely outrageous Mykonian nightlife.

Day 12 – Mykonos
Free day today. Spend the day on the beach, stroll around the town or take a trip to one of the small villages. This Mecca of Ancient Greece is today an island wide, open-air museum.

Day 13 – Mykonos – Samos
Today you will catch a mid-day ferry heading towards the island of Samos and then another ferry to Kusadasi, Turkey.

Day 14 – Samos – Kusadasi (Turkey)

Day 15 – Ephesus, Kusadasi
Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of Ephesus and a visit to the site of the Temple of Artemis. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city and theatre before continuing to the former Greek village of Sirince, famous for its fruit wines. Carpet weaving has long traditions in Turkey and at the carpet village we learn how the carpets are made by hand and what determines their value.

Day 16 – Pamukkale, Hierapolis
This morning we will enjoy a display of locally handcrafted leather goods before heading to the magnificent white calcium terraces, known as Travertines, in Pamukkale where we also tour the ancient city of Hierapolis. Take a dip, amongst ancient columns, in the hot springs that were used in Roman times for their therapeutic powers.

Day 17 – Aphrodisias, Fethiye
Today we drive south towards the Mediterranean coast, visiting the ancient site of Aphrodisias along the way.

Day 18 – Fethiye
Today you have the option to relax on a day cruise around the 12 Islands of Fethiye or experience one of Turkey’s highlights on an optional day tour to Saklikent Gorge, Turkey’s longest and deepest canyon.

Day 19 – Cruise FETHIYE TO OLYMPOS
Day 1 Departure from Fethiye Harbour between 11 and 12 a.m to Samanlık bay for swimming & lunch Butterfly Valley (sea conditions permitting) is our next stop for a swim & to visit this natural reserve, hosting 136 kinds of different butterflies and moths. Afterwards we cruise to Ölüdeniz (The Blue Lagoon) again sea conditions permitting. Option for paragliding available.Last stop of the day is St Nicholas Island.Visit the Byzantine ruins, swim, dinner and 1 st night.

Day 17 Cruise FETHIYE TO OLYMPOS
DAY 2 Around sunrise departure to Aquarium or Fırnaz bay near Kalkan for breakfast & Swimming. Cruising to Kaş where we stop in the harbour for lunch & visit of this charming fishing village.Of ancient antiphellos, as Kas was once know, only Lycian Rock tombs & sarcophagi and the Roman theatre are left.But the charm of the town Remains! In a bay near Kakova we stop for swimming, diner & the 2 nd night.

Day 18 Cruise FETHIYE TO OLYMPOS
DAY 3 Breakfast. Departure to Sunken City of Kekova (this Lycian – Roman archaological Site is protected, so only looking!) Simena, a traditional Turkish fishing village with no car Access and Bytantine / Otaman Castle. In Gokkaya Bay watersports are available. Dinner, relax in this pirates haven or party the night away at the Smugglers Inn & 3 rd night.

Day 19 Cruise FETHIYE TO OLYMPOS
DAY 4 After breakfast we have a look at the Pirates Cave before cruising to Andriace Harbour.(lunch)Bus transfer to the archaeological site is Myra and to Derme for the St Nicholas Church, shopping and banking when requested.Bus transfer to all Tree Houses in Olympos where we arrive between 4 and 6 p.m

Day 20 Kayakoy, Antalya
Relaxing morning, before a late afternoon drive to the resort town of Antalya visiting the deserted Greek village of Kayakoy on the way.

Aspendos, Manavgat Waterfalls
Today, we will visit famous theatre at Aspendos which is known for one of the best preserved theatres of Asia Minor, still used today. Then we will visit Manavgat Waterfalls for a pleasant resting spot.

Early departure for Konya and the mausoleum of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi with its accompanying museum.

Day 24 – Goreme, Uchisar Castle – Cappadocia
Today we depart for Cappadocia visiting Sultanhani Caravansary, the largest in Anatolia, en route. We continue onto Cappadocia and marvel at the lunar landscape with a fully guided tour of Goreme Valley, the fairy chimneys, Uchisar castle and more. Tonight, don’t miss the optional traditional Turkish folklore evening!

Day 25 – Pigeon and Love Valleys, Underground City – Cappadocia
Today we visit trek through the Pigeon and Love Valleys and explore the many levels of an underground city.

Day 26 – Ankara -> Istanbul
Early morning departure to the nation’s capital, Ankara, where we visit Anitkabir, mausoleum of the famed Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, before returning to Istanbul.

Day 27 – Istanbul Old City
Tour the exotic city that spans both Europe and Asia visiting the Blue Mosque, St Sophia Museum, Topkapi Palace and the Hippodrome.
Cruise between two continents on the stretch of water that separates Europe from Asia in the afternoon with an optional ‘Half day Bosphorous cruise’.

After breakfast our tour concludes and we say goodbye to our new friends and are transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
